Denmark Bans Religious Slaughter
Denmark’s Agriculture and Food Minister Dan Jørgensen has signed into law a regulation that bans religious slaughter of animals. European Union regulations require stunning before slaughter, but permit member states to allow exemptions for religious slaughter.
