Noah’s Ark (via Wikipedia) –
Noah’s Ark (Hebrew: תיבת נח; Biblical Hebrew: Tevat Noaḥ) is the vessel in the Genesis flood narrative (Genesis chapters 6–9) by which Noah saves himself, his family, and a remnant of all the world’s animals from the flood. God gives Noah detailed instructions for building the ark: it is to be of gopher wood, smeared inside and out with pitch, with three decks and internal compartments; it will be 300 cubits long (137.16 m, 450 ft), 50 wide (22.86 m, 75 ft), and 30 high (13.716 m, 45 ft); it will have a roof “finished to a cubit upward”; and an entrance on the side. The story goes on to describe the ark being afloat throughout the flood and subsequent receding of the waters before it came to rest on Mount Ararat. The story is repeated, with variations, in the Quran, where the ark appears as Safina Nuh (Arabic: سفينة نوح “Noah’s boat”). [Read more]

Atheist ‘Noah’ Director Brags Film is Least Biblical Bible Movie Ever
Note to Christians and those who believe the Bible: The producer of the movie “Noah,” a self-professed atheist, says he is proud of the fact that he’s taken a story inspired by God’s word and turned it into something so secular. Director Darren Aronofsky called his movie “the least biblical biblical film ever made,” The Telegraph reported. He also claimed his leading character, Noah, was the “first environmentalist,” something that suggests the movie storyline doesn’t exactly follow the Bible’s. [Read more]

101 Reasons Why Noah’s Story Doesn’t Float
I can think of no superior example thoroughly demonstrating why the Bible is not the holy word of any deity than the tale of Noah and his ark. Although this book is intended to be a short introduction of biblical problems for those still hanging onto their programmed beliefs, I’m unable to fathom how I can be concise with the tale of the global flood. Rather than bogging you down with some mind numbing scientific data, I’ll try to present the various problems in an organized yet fun to read manner. [Read more]
Top Ten Reasons Noah’s Flood is Mythology
There are several good treatments of this subject at other websites, for example, see this from the National Center for Science Education (NCSE):The Impossible Voyage of Noah’s Ark, and also this from TalkOrigins: Problems with a Global Flood. But here we’ll give you our own humble list. Due the the subject matter, it won’t be remarkably original. [Read more]
Noah’s Ark Debunked…Again
Of course the wood discovered on Mt. Ararat in Turkey is not the fabled Noah’s Ark. That this find has been reported with any seriousness at all in the media is stunning. Noah’s Ark Ministries, International, a Hong Kong evangelical organization, teamed up with Media Evangelism and set off to find Noah’s ark. Naturally, they found just what they were looking for. Instead of reporting their findings in peer-reviewed archaeological journals and subjecting them to further study, they chose to hold a press conference and claim they were 99.9% certain they’d found Noah’s Ark. Noah’s Ark Discovered … Again and Again
In this world there are things that seem on the verge of being discovered every so often, yet never quite materialize. The “Lost City” of Atlantis, for example, has been “found” at least a half dozen times. One researcher is pretty sure it is in Bolivia; another says it is Antarctica; a third claims that Bimini beachrock may be from the lost civilization. So it is with Noah’s Ark. [Read more]
